Fathers of the family

Father's Day...just a few months late :)
After all these years...still holding hands
My amazing grandparents, Mam & Pap

So, so blessed to have such amazing men in my life.

My grandfather, oh, what a man. I tear up just thinking about him. He is amazing. Really...how do you put that much love in words. He has loved me and prayed for me since the moment I was born. He has always said that I was born to do something special...I hope and pray I make him proud. I have so many special memories of him and am lucky that he is still with us to make more!

My Daddy, it doesn't matter how old I am...he will always be my Daddy. In my eyes this man hung the moon. He is the sweetest, kindest man I know and just a tad grouchy too :) But, after raising me for 30 years (I say that because he still is) how could you not be a tad grouchy.

My hubby! Absolutely the best father to our children I could imagine. I love and admire his commitment to Coop and Brylee and to our family. He loves like no other.

Faces

One of Coop's favorite things to do is make funny faces for the camera....I guess he gets it from his Daddy...

Lake Time

Considering it is cold, cold, cold outside...I thought it would be nice to be reminded of summer fun. Well, it sounded good, didn't it?? But I am sticking to...better late than never.

We spent a lot of Summer 2010 at the Hightower/Reynolds casa on Boone Lake! We spent our days swimming, jet skiing, tubing, fishing, and all things LAKE! We spent our evenings making smores, snuggled up watching movies, and loads of game playing! Thanks for all the special memories Uncle Bill and Aunt Bek
Tube time
Coop was not real sure about the tube at first, it didn't take him long to decide, it was FUN
Sweet, Sweet boy

My little dare devil...loves, loves, loves jumping off the dock
Silly guy

Giggle Giggle :)
My cutey pie hubby, love him
Brylee loved sitting on the dock and watching the ducks swim

He did it!!

How I LOVE this kid!!
I can NOT believe this guy is all grown up! Even more than that I can NOT believe that I did not post these immediately!! These are from Zach's graduation in May (2010).

Our nephew..yes, I know, how cool that I have a nephew that is 18 :) is the most amazing kid. He has a heart of gold and I am so proud of him! Just looking at these I am reminded of Dr. Seuss's "Oh, the Places You'll Go." We have been blessed to watch him grow and mature into the amazing person he is...and can't wait to see what the future holds for him. Whatever that may be....it will be AMAZING

Zach's proud Daddy, Hayter Dee, Coop, Brylee and the GRADUATE!

Zach, we love you!

Moments

I have been a complete blog slacker. While looking back through pictures, I found this precious picture from last Easter (April 2010).

Brylee and her great-grandfather, "Papaw"

These two have a very, very special bond. It is precious to watch the "tough man" turn to mush when she calls his name.
