Cooper and Brylee spent the night with Poppy and Gaggy on Friday night. Poppy and Brylee had a very funny conversation and my dad just cackled when he told me about it.
Brylee: "Poppy, what is that?" (pointing to the hair on his chest)
Poppy: "It is hair"
Brylee: "Put it back on your head"

Conversations with Cooper
Last night driving down the road:
Cooper: "Mommy, why don't birds poop in the potty?"
Me: "Because birds are wild animals"
Cooper: "Well, could you atleast tell them not to poop on my window"

Big Girl Hair Cut
I finally broke down and took Brylee for her first big girl hair cut. She now hates having her hair washed and it gets super tangled, so I decided it was time for a little trim. It was actually more than a little trim, she had a few inches cut. I can't believe how grown up she looks sporting her new little bob.
Gymnastics
My kids love love love gymnastics!! Cooper's coach quit so we took some time off, but he told me a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to go back. Brylee, of course, followed her big brothers lead and decided it was time for her to go to "mynastics" too. I am so glad that we gave it a whirl; she did fantastic. Brylee strutted off the floor with the biggest grin on her face, and Cooper is thrilled to be back. I think our biggest problem is going to be explaining why we can't go to gymnastics every night.

Water Park
What is more fun than a water park in November....according to my kids....absolutely nothing! I have been a huge slacker and am posting out of order and way late but better late than never. In November were able to visit the indoor water park in Pigeon Forge. It was so much fun and absolutely perfect for the kids. Cooper's favorite thing was to sit on a raft and ride the waves in the wave pool. Brylee really enjoyed the slide in the "little ones" section. I didn't get many pictures because our camera went dead and I forgot my camera but I will posts more from mom's camera later! We had such an amazing time with Poppy, Gaggy, Aunt Abby, and Uncle Dana!!
Brylee and Poppy! She has her Poppy wrapped around her little finger and he loves every minute of it

That Moment
Every mom knows the moments in life when all you want to do is make it "all better." Every time the kids are sick or have gotten hurt my heart has broken that I couldn't fix it. The other night we went to Aunt Bek and Uncle Bill's house for game night. We had so much fun and stayed up way passed bedtime. Cooper fell asleep watching a movie and B carried him to the car snoozing away. B buckled him in and he woke up crying and fussy. He was mumbling and crying and I couldn't understand him, but finally I could understand "I want Mommy." Of course, I climbed in the back seat (yes, I know not the safest thing to do while hubby is cruising down the road) and snuggled in between the carseats. I put my arm around him and instantly he stopped crying. Brylee, of course, wanted to snuggle too. She grabbed my arm and wrapped her tiny little arms around it and layed her head down. Instantly she was snoozing away. That very moment I will never forget. In that moment, for once, I was able to "fix it" for both of them. I was able to give them comfort that only their Mommy could. I rode the rest of the way home with one arm around Coop and one arm wrapped in Brylee's arms, and I don't remember a time that I have been so thrilled to be a rubber band :) I hope my road of motherhood is full of those moments!
