Bath Time part 2
What would a bath time post be without some after bath cutie pie pictures?
These are just so cute. I had to share.

New Tricks
Cooper and Brylee have found a new trick to amuse themselves during bath time. We recently went for a check up with Cooper's ENT doctor and finally got the all clear that both tubes were out. This was a huge day for us. Cooper had to have tubes put in his ears before his 1st birthday, so he has not been able to lay back in the water. We have had to be cautious when he was in the water, making sure his ears were not submerged. Finally, the day came and he was able to lay back and soak in the tub. He loves it. Honestly, I think his favorite part is that he no longer has to have water dumped over his head. Of course, after Cooper started showing off his new bath time skills it only took Brylee a couple of minutes to follow his lead.

Happy 3 - 0 to ME!!
I had an absolutely fantastical 30th birthday. I was able to celebrate the day just the way I wanted, with my family. The morning of my birthday we met up with Mom and Dad, my Grandparents, and one of my uncles at Cracker Barrel, yummmm. Mom and Dad surprised me with a gift card from Dick's. I couldn't imagine what they had intended for me to buy, but Mom quickly squashed my hopes of buying Cooper the cutest North Face jacket on the planet with the announcement that they wanted me to buy a bike. Just a little background, recently, several people in my family have bought bicycles. My thoughtful Mom, thought I might like to join in on the family fun this summer so they bought the gift card to help fund the purchase of my bicycle. I was SOOOO very excited. After breakfast, I drug Mom and Dad to Dick's to help me decide on a bike. Several hours and the kids napping later, Dad and I returned to pick up the PERFECT bike. Well, by this time it was late in the day and everyone wanted to just "wait until tomorrow" to go for a ride. I was not having it, I was a kid with a new toy and I wanted to ride my bike "now." So, my wonderful parents humored me, ran home got their bikes and met us for a fun ride on the Green Belt. We worked up an appetite on our riding journey, so we walked over to Salsarita's for dinner. When we walked in we ran into Cooper and Brylee's friends from school, Carson and Caylee. The kids were thrilled to see each other, and the girls were so sweet they greeted each other with lots and lots of hugs. Huge thanks to my wonderful family for a fun filled birthday!!
Brylee loved the ride
Bryan, Coop and Brylee enjoying the day!
Cooper spotted a squirrel and wanted me to take a picture of it. We spend the rest of the ride on a "squirrel hunt."
Brylee giving some love to her friend, Caylee
The proof is in the...
pudding, or in Brylee's case, the proof is in the blueberry muffin. As many of you know Brylee LOVES to eat, she really enjoys her food. She makes eating such a fun event at our house, and she even squeels in delight at her favorite foods. One of her favorites is blueberry muffins.

Time
First, you will have to ignore my rambling on this topic. Today as I was putting Cooper's gloves on so he could go outside and play with his Daddy it suddenly hit me how quickly he was growing up. As Coop walked out the door huge tears came streaming down my face, because my "baby" is not a baby anymore. I am amazed that three years have passed so quickly. It is the little things that I hope I will always remeber. For example, he calls gloves "glubs." When he tells me loves me, his version is "Mommy, I wuvs you." When I ask him how much Mommy loves him, he replies "big much." When you ask him his sister's name he says "Sissy Brylee Grace." He is finally starting to like going to the Y with Mommy to work out and the main reason for this is that the Y has the infamous Power Rangers that I will not buy for him. He would spend all day riding his bike and scooter if we would let him. He always starts our diner conversation with, "Mommy, how was your day at school?" He thinks it is super cool that Mommy goes to school just like him. He knows I am a teacher, but he always asks me if "I had a good day with my friends." He loves Lightning McQueen and calls him "Queen." He is such and amazing child and I really enjoy spending time with him. He is funny, charming, and so sweet. I made the comment the other day to one of my friends that one day he is going to make the most amazing husband, and I pray daily that God brings him the most wonderful wife.

I got out the camcorder today because I just want to capture every moment. I know that it is not possible, but it saddens me to think that these will probably be among some of the small things that I will forget about 10 or 15 years down the road.
See, I told you this post was going to be a rambling mess.

Happy Birthday Gaggy!!
Today we want to wish GAGGY a very very Happy Birthday!! The kids surprised her today by having beautiful flowers delivered to her at work, and in true Gaggy fashion she cried when she got them.
I'm sure many of you are wondering how in the world my Mom got the name Gaggy. In honor of her BIG DAY I will explain. When we found out we were pregnant with Cooper my mom starting thinking of names that she wanted the grandkids to call her. She thought about it for months and talked and talked and talked about it. It was a HUGE deal for her. She wanted the PERFECT name for her grandbabies to call her. My grandmother kept telling her not to stress about the name because the kids would call her whatever they wanted to call her (Mamaw should know she goes by Mam, Mamaw, Ma, and Mimi). Dana and I laughed and joked with her calling her "Granny" because that is the only name she said absolutely NO to. As the months of pregancy went by Mom still had no name for herself. Finally, she announced the name "Grammy." Perfect, the grandkids would call her "Grammy." I don't think she could contain her excitement and announced to everyone she would go by Grammy. Finally, Cooper arrived and she called herself Grammy to him. Little did she know, Mamaw was right and Cooper was going to find his own name for her. When he finally started talking, he called her "Gaggy." We all thought it wouldn't last and when he could he would call her Grammy. Nope, we were all wrong. He is three and still calls her "Gaggy" with the ever so often "Gaga" thrown in the mix.
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAGGY! WE LOVE YOU!!

Polly Wants A Cracker....
This past week Brylee has turned into our little parakeet. She repeats EVERYTHING. She has started saying so many new words. I am amazed at how quickly her vocabulary is growing. Just tonight, I was giving the kids a bath and Cooper was singing the theme song from Wonderpets. Brylee started singing right along with him. Granted not every word was legible, but it was too cute to watch her bob and weave her little head while singing away. Among the funniest of her new words is momilk. This is what she calls milk, probably because we are always asking her if she wants "more milk."
